DIGITAL FARMING PROJECT

Kambyan Network, has implementing digital farming methods at an 800ha oil palm

plantation in Tanjung Malim, Perak. Digital agriculture is the use of new and advanced

technologies, integrated into one system, to enable farmers and other stakeholders within

the agriculture value chain to improve food production. The objective of digital

agriculture is to maximize crop yield, reducing wastage and improving overall efficiency.

We are creating a platform solution that involves many different technologies and the

platform is called ManUsIA (Man Using Intelligent Applications). Manual systems have

many flaws and inefficiency such as wasted time, human errors and scalability. In, oil

palm plantation for example, with an automation platform hat combines various

technologies such as Distributed Ledger Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics,

5G HALE Drone, Data Lake, High Precision Laser.

We are able to autonomously harvest, fertilize, weed and transport. Wastage due to lack

of human labour force, error due to unripe fruit harvesting and wastage due to late

transportation to the mill can be rectified by using fully autonomous systems. This

system can be adopted in various industries such as warehouse & logistics, aerospace,

energy, manufacturing & building management, security management and will have high

vertical scalability. The key technologies to digital agriculture are Big Data, Cloud

Computing, Machine Learning, Robotics, DLT (Block chain), Artificial Intelligence,

Data Lake, 5G HALE (High Altitude Long Endurance) Drone.

NATIONAL SCIENCE WEEK 2019

KELANTAN STATE LEVEL

Adroit and Kambyan’s R&D team had participated in Kelantan State—National

Science week organized by the Ministry of Science, Technology, Environment and

Climate Change (MESTECC) and the Malaysian Technology Development

Corporation (MTDC).

The program serves as a technology exchange platform between entrepreneurs and

universities besides, educate entrepreneurs to be competent in the industry. Our

team has won the consolation prize under ‘Drone Destroyer ‘competition. Good job

team!
